This raw 80% lower is for builders who want complete control over their finish. Comes uncoated in forged 7075-T6 aluminum – same mil-spec dimensions as our standard lowers, just without the anodizing. The Fire/Safe markings are already engraved, and the magwell is properly broached for reliable mag drops.
You’ll need to degrease thoroughly before applying any finish. Raw aluminum oxidizes fast, so don’t let it sit unprotected. Some builders parkerize first for better paint adhesion, others go straight to Cerakote. Not recommended for builders who just want to assemble and shoot – this is a project piece.
